Water Technology has worked with Tamworth Regional Council and the NSW SES to develop a new Flood Early Warning System for Nundle and Woolomin in the upper Peel Catchment. The system uses data provided by the monitoring of creeks and rivers and predicted rainfall from the Bureau of Meteorology to identify flood risks and provide early warning. In addition, a new river gauge has been installed in Duncans Creek that will allow real time monitoring of flows upstream of Woolomin.
