World Bank Project

As part of the implementation of the Priority 4 of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, the World Bank/GFDRR has launched a global study on the “State of Civil Protection in the World: Typologies, Good Practices and Economic Returns”. For this global study, Molino Stewart was commissioned to prepare a report on civil protection (emergency management) in Australia. The report, based on data derived from the commonwealth and state/territory governments, provided a detailed description and analysis of civil protection in the Australia and identified lessons-learnt and good international practices.
