Molino Stewart was engaged by School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) to undertake the Independent Audit Program for the construction of a new school building at Kent Road Public School, Marsfield NSW to meet the conditions of approval for the project. The audit reviewed the project’s performance against the conditions outlined in the Environmental Impact Statement, conditions of approval and construction schedule. The audit was conducted in accordance with the AS/NZS ISO 19011 Australian/New Zealand Standard: Guidelines for quality and/or environmental management systems auditing and the Independent Audit Post Approval Requirements (Department of Planning and Environment 2018). The audit considered total of 154 conditions of consent of which there were 329 separately assessable sub-conditions (items). In keeping with the recent COVID-19 social distancing recommendations, the audit was comprised of a video conference and a video streamed site walk-over.
